Genesis 42 When Simeon was left behind in Egypt, what was going though his mind? Was he treated kindly or did he sit in prison like Jospeh did? Why did the other brothers wait so long to come and get him? Was he mad at being left so long?

Everyone always talks about the faith of Abraham when he was told to sacrifice Issac. Today I was struck by the faith of Issac. Did he fight his father when he went to bind him and put him on the altar. Did he just trust and realize that his father knew what he was doing. Imagine what must have been going through his head at this time. I am amazed that Issac trusted his father and his God that much to put his life in their hands. Wow! (genesis 22) When Rebekah made the choice to go and marry Issac she left her family and everyone she knew. They were going to miss her and most of them knew that they would never see her again. The blessing they chose to give her is amazing. They blessed her and prayed that she would have many children and even more descendants. They could have said anything but they chose to pray that God would bless her with children. In our society today this does not happen. Children are seen as a hindrance.
